Based from our Southport office and reporting to the Site Lead, this is a great opportunity for a dynamic Customer Service Officer to join MEGT’s Employment Services Division and be part of the Transition to Work (TtW) contract, where we aim to support young job seekers to complete training, education, and/or find meaningful and sustainable employment. The role is to be the first point of contact for our Southport site for face to face, phone, email, and online enquiries, as well as supporting our Coomera site as well. The Customer Service Officer will support the Site Lead and team members with administration and general day to day running of the site.

This role is a parental leave cover until June 2025.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide prompt, professional and responsive service, experience, advice and support to all customers.
  • Provide a positive and friendly welcome for, and engage and build rapport and relationships with, all customers (internal and external) entering the site as the first point of contact.
  • Follow up and respond to customer enquiries or redirect enquiries to relevant MEGT divisions or roles within agreed service standards.
  • Assist Site Lead and other staff with general site and administrative duties as required (including managing invoices and multiple credit cards) 
  • Ongoing record keeping, compliance and contractual obligations as required by the TtW deed

About you

You will be an ambitious, adaptable, and personable self-starter with a passion for providing excellent customer service and administrative assistance to the team in Southport and Coomera. You will also possess:    

  • Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a passion for customer satisfaction and outcomes
  • Experience and capability to successfully influence and negotiate within a complex and fast-changing business environment in order to achieve efficient and effective business outcomes. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple priorities and implementation of time management skills 
  • Sound organisational skills and proven ability to exercise initiative, determine workload priorities and complete tasks within required timeframes including the ability to act quickly to resolve problems and refer queries to the appropriate staff member
  • Demonstrated competency with digital literacy including multiple Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Acrobat. 
  • Passion for working collaboratively and consultatively with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of responsibility
