The Opportunity
Based from our Launceston office this is your opportunity to work for our Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP) Division, Australia's largest and only national ANP.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager Mentoring Services, you will be an important mentor support role in managing internal and external stakeholders whilst providing excellent customer service.
This exciting role is fast paced, highly rewarding and involves inbound and outbound to provide support and mentoring to our apprentices, trainees and clients. The purpose is to assist the apprentice, trainee and employer in the completion of their Australian Apprenticeship. This role will also involve administration and compliance and the ability to meet KPI’s.
As an MEGT Mentor, you will provide support our apprentices and trainees to ensure they complete their qualifications by balancing the demands of their studies and their on-the-job duties. You will provide practical and pastoral support, particularly in cases where the apprentice or trainee may have challenging circumstances to overcome to succeed. This is where on of MEGT’s key value Courage will be needed, as you guide your clients to persevere through obstacles and help them achieve their career goals.
About you
You will have experience in a similar environment ideally within employment services, community services or a call centre environment. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to engage, respect and support customers of diverse demographics and social backgrounds with a strong focus on youth including:
This full-time fixed-term position is available in line with the AASN contract ending 30 June 2023, with the possibility of extension.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake pre-employment checks which may include a National Police Check, State/Territory Working with Children Check, two reference checks and verify your right to work in Australia.
