 The Opportunity 

Based from Werribee, this is your opportunity to join MEGT’s Employment Services Division and be part of the new, exciting and rewarding Workforce Australia contract. 

As an Employment Consultant you will engage with job seekers to increase their readiness to work and to assist them in finding sustainable employment or training opportunities. 

This will include activities such as: 

  • 1:1 coaching and support 
  • Group activities 
  • Online and digital services 
  • Providing external specialist assistance to participants to overcome barriers 
  • Engaging with employers to provide that support when job seekers are in the hiring and onboarding process 

This extremely rewarding frontline customer service role is centered around relationship management and will have a direct impact on the delivery of the Workforce Australia contract and above all the lives of others.

About you 

You will be an ambitious, adaptable, and personable self-starter with a passion for customer service and drive to have a positive impact within the community including:  

  • Excellent customer service skills, ideally face to face, demonstrating a passion for customer satisfaction and outcomes 
  • Demonstrated ability to meet KPI’s 
  • Ability to work at a fast paced and in an unsupervised small team, acting with trust and integrity. 
  • Passion for working collaboratively and consultatively with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of responsibility 
  • A demonstrated understanding of working with job seekers and the barriers facing them to employment opportunities e.g. Employment Services or Case Management experience (highly regarded) 
  • Current drivers' license or ability to travel
