The Opportunity 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator to join our Finance Division and support the effective management of MEGT's national property portfolio. Reporting to the Property & Facilities Manager, you'll act as the first point of contact for facilities-related enquiries, and play a key role in coordinating facilities services, maintenance activities and property-related administration across our network of offices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage facilities helpdesk requests and coordinate timely resolutions.
  • Coordinate maintenance works with contractors, landlords and suppliers.
  • Support office fit-outs, relocations, closures and new site occupancies.
  • Review property-related invoices and contractor administration.
  • Support audits, ISO compliance, WHS and Essential Safety Measures.
  • Assist with portfolio projects, government contracts requirements and business growth initiatives.
  • Support MEGT's digital property and facilities management systems.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 

About you 

You're a proactive and highly organised problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With a positive, can-do attitude and strong customer focus, you're confident building relationships, managing competing priorities and finding practical solutions. You will also bring:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and cloud-based systems.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety and facilities compliance requirements.
  • Ability to travel to MEGT sites, including occasional interstate travel.
