The Opportunity

Based at our head office in Ringwood, this dynamic role reports to the Head of Marketing and focuses on enhancing the end-to-end customer experience for our stakeholders including job seekers, apprentices, employers, industry associations and government.

As a hands-on marketing generalist, you’ll translate strategy into action, delivering compliant, customer-focused marketing across touchpoints including digital, print, events, and communications.

You’ll work closely with multiple divisions – including our Recruitment and Managed Services (RMS), Workforce Australia (WFA) and Apprenticeship Connect Provider (ACP) teams – as well as shared services teams and external partners and agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the enhancement of the customer experience for stakeholders through customer journey and touchpoint mapping, managing internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Assist the Head of Marketing in developing annual marketing programs, including campaigns and tactical initiatives.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders and internal teams to execute divisional marketing programs and activities.
  • Oversee implementation of communications touchpoints, including website content, e-newsletters, photography, videography, and printed collateral.
  • Collaborate with internal creative teams, agency partners, and compliance to produce high-quality, on-brand content.
  • Ensure consistent and customer-focused marketing aligned to MEGT’s goals and values.
  • Contribute to monthly budgeting, reporting and process improvements.

Please note- this is a 12-month initial contract with potential to transition into a permanent role.

 

About you

  • 5+ years’ experience in a marketing role, preferably in a B2B environment
  • A customer-centric mindset with a passion for improving customer engagement and experience
  • Proven project management skills, with an analytical and operational mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent stakeholder engagement
  • Experience working across multiple marketing touchpoints (e.g. website, social media, events, collateral, signage, merchandise)
  • Proven ability to brief and manage creative development with internal teams and external agencies
  • Experience in the education or employment sector is highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing
