The Opportunity 

Located at either our Milton or Loganholme office, this role reports to the IT Service Desk Team Leader and is primarily responsible for providing quality Level 1-2 technical support to employees across MEGT.  

This is a great opportunity for a customer-focused IT professional looking to build their Service Desk experience, strengthen their technical skills and grow their career in a supportive and collaborative environment. 

  • Deliver exceptional IT support and customer service to employees across the organisation 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, device and access-related issues 
  • Provision, deploy and support laptops, mobile devices and business applications 
  • Support user onboarding, offboarding, password resets and access requests 
  • Manage incidents and service requests through our ticketing system 
  • Create and maintain knowledge articles and support documentation 
  • Contribute to reporting, asset management and service delivery improvements 
  • Provide after-hours support when required 

 

About you 

You're someone who genuinely enjoys helping people, solving problems and delivering a great customer experience. You thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate confidently with a wide range of stakeholders, and are eager to contribute developing your technical skills. You’ll bring: 

  • 1-2 years’ experience in an IT Help Desk, Service Desk or MSP environment 
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for supporting end users  
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID and end-user devices  
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Exchange Online, ticketing systems and remote support tools  
  • Confidence troubleshooting Microsoft Office applications, printers, mobile devices, VPNs and basic network connectivity issues 
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify when to escalate  
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment  
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms  
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous learning and improvement
