The Opportunity

Based in our offices across the Western Suburbs (region) reporting to the Program Manager, the Stakeholder Engagement Lead is responsible for planning, implementing, and delivering strategic business development and employer partnership activities that create sustainable employment opportunities for job seekers across the region. This includes establishing, retaining, and growing relationships with employers who offer high volume vacancies, as well as those seeking to diversify their workforce or redesign roles to support job seekers with complex barriers.

Key duties include:

  • Forge strong relationships with employers, HR teams, and hiring managers

  • Influence inclusive practices like job redesign, workplace adjustments, and accessible recruitment

  • Understand job‑seeker barriers and match the right talent to the right roles

  • Co‑design practical pre‑employment programs with RTOs and community partners

  • Focus on long‑term employment outcomes that actually stick

We are seeking a commercially sharp, socially driven professional who can talk workforce strategy with senior leaders and support job seekers facing complex barriers, all in the same day.

About you

We’re looking for a standout operator who can drive employer engagement, champion inclusive hiring, and build partnerships that lead to real jobs, not just filled vacancies.

  • Qualifications in Employment Services, Business Development, Sales, Marketing or other related field (desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in business development, employer engagement, sales, marketing, or account management, ideally within the Employment Services sector and at a regional/national level.
  • Proven experience influencing employer practices, including supporting inclusive recruitment, job redesign, workplace adjustments, and culturally safe employment practices.
  • Experience working with job seekers facing complex or multiple barriers to employment, with an understanding of the challenges impacting sustainable employment outcomes.
  • Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding targets, KPIs, and multiple concurrent deadlines in a customer centric environment.
  • Experience providing high quality customer service with professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to improving customer satisfaction and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and maintain strong relationships with employers, stakeholders, and customers at all organisational levels.
  • Experience working autonomously and collaboratively within small teams, contributing to positive team culture, open communication, and shared problem solving.
  • Proven willingness to embrace change, contribute to continuous improvement, and take initiative to deliver services that meet evolving customer and organisational needs.
  • Current driver’s licence.
