The Opportunity
As the State Service Delivery Manager – Queensland/New South Wales, you will take on a pivotal leadership role within our Recruitment and Management Services (RMS) division. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, you will oversee daily operations, drive service excellence, and lead business development, and Workplace Health and Safety within your region. Based in either our Ultimo or Milton office, you will develop and execute state-level strategies, ensuring their successful implementation across Queensland and New South Wales.
You will also be responsible for but not limited to:
- Lead, mentor, and support your team to achieve service delivery excellence and business growth.
- Drive the expansion and growth of MEGT's business through strategic business development initiatives.
- Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities, fostering partnerships that support long-term organisational success.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of apprentices, trainees, and employers from induction through to completion.
- Drive team productivity and efficiency, optimising caseloads while attracting new clients/hosts.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with schools, Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), government departments, and community organisations.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve apprentice and trainee completion rates.
- Ensure compliance with RMS policies and procedures.
- Continuously enhance the MEGT client and employee experience through strategic improvement initiatives.
About you
You are a dynamic and experienced leader with a proven track record in service delivery, business development, and operational excellence. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, are highly adaptable, and are committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
You will bring:
- Proven leadership skills, with experience in building a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Strong business development acumen, with a history of successfully acquiring and growing client relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of the GTO and/or Labor Hire model, including industry trends and apprenticeship pathways.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, particularly in large-scale change management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic and operational planning expertise, with a drive for efficiency and excellence.
- Experience in talent acquisition and pre-employment programs, particularly for underrepresented cohorts.
- High digital literacy, including proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Flexibility to travel regularly to engage with clients, staff, and key stakeholders.
- A valid driver’s licence or the ability to travel for work commitments.
