The Opportunity
This is a Parental Leave Cover till May 2026!
Based from Parramatta, this is your opportunity to join our Apprentice Connect Provider division and work with Australia’s largest single provider. The Assistant Team Leader will assist the Administration Team Leader to support a team of Customer Service Officers in the Apprentice Connect Provider Central Processing Unit (CPU) and ensures the unit achieves all requirements, with the ultimate goal of providing ‘Service Excellence’ to our customers.
The role assists the Administration Team Leader to ensure that the administrative requirements of the Support Services contract and relevant State/Territory Training Agreements are fulfilled efficiently and effectively. In addition, the role identifies areas for improvement and assists the Team Leader to lead the team, provide training, and ensure targets are met.

About you
You will have a passion for customer service, with experience in a supervisory role and the ability to motivate team members, along with:
• Experience in leading and motivating a team, including coaching, developing and guiding staff
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deal with complex issues
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and build and maintain strong relationships
• Experience in working within set guidelines and policy frameworks
• Strong attention to detail with an understanding of quality assurance and compliance
• Experience in administration and data entry
• Experience with providing adequate training for Customer Service Officers – Central Processing Unit)
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of team to drive, influence and achieve performance, financial and contractual commitments
• High level of computer literacy across a range of programs
• A thorough understanding of the lifecycle of a National Training Contract and Apprentice Connect Provider sales process
