The Opportunity 
 
Based in Adelaide or Melbourne and reporting directly to the State Service Delivery Manager, the Business Development Manager will work closely with various levels of management within the Recruitment and Management Services (RMS) Division.  
 
This is a strategic business development role in which you are required to proactively acquire new clients and sell tailored workforce solution services to foster the growth of the RMS Division. 
 The role will closely partner and collaborate with a variety of diverse stakeholders  (internal and external) to  understand the unique challenges of our clients and to offer an MEGT service  that creates employment solutions that change lives for the better. 
 
 
About you
 
You will be an ambitious and driven self-starter with a strong background in business development and a solid network of potential clients? We are seeking a candidate with the following knowledge, experience and abilities: 
 
Sales Acumen: Demonstrate a high level of sales expertise, understanding client needs, and effectively selling value propositions. 
Results-Oriented: Proven track record of successful client acquisition and superior business development skills. 
Industry Knowledge (desirable): Familiarity with the VET sector, including current trends and factors influencing the apprenticeship sector. 
Sector Experience: Experience within the Construction, Manufacturing, and IT sectors is desirable. 
Relationship Management: Active management of customer relationships to achieve sustained success. 
Networking: The ability to proactively build a strong network of relationships with prospective clients, RTOs, employer associations, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth and uncover new opportunities.
Communication Skills: Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the State Leadership Team, to increase market share. 
Digital Literacy: High proficiency in various Microsoft Suite applications and programs. 
• Driver's License and ability to travel
