The Opportunity

Join MEGT as an Enterprise Architect and play a key role in defining and promoting the enterprise architecture vision. Reporting to the Head of IT Governance, you will join a close-knit IT team, and collaborate with stakeholders across divisions to design, develop, and deliver strategic architecture artefacts.

You will develop future-state technology architecture by assessing current systems, guiding technology decisions, and implementing strategies that support long-term business goals.

This role also involves building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, influencing executive leaders with clear, strategic communication, and promoting innovation to enhance customer value and business growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining MEGT’s enterprise architecture strategy and technology roadmap.
  • Leading architectural planning and governance across cloud, infrastructure, security, applications, and data domains.
  • Driving simplification, centralisation, and modernisation of MEGT’s technology landscape.
  • Providing expert architectural advice and oversight across major transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of technology with business priorities.
  • Guiding technical teams in the application of enterprise architecture standards, principles, and frameworks.
  • Advocating for continuous innovation and improvement in line with MEGT’s strategic objectives.
  • Communicating complex architectural concepts clearly to executive and senior leadership.

 

About you

You are a people person with deep expertise in enterprise architecture and the ability to deliver impactful outcomes across business and technology domains.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • 3+ years of enterprise architecture experience in large, complex environments.
  • TOGAF Framework Certification (highly desirable) or relevant Technology Degree.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing enterprise technology strategies.
  • Experience across solution architecture, IT strategy, and business transformation.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft/Azure ecosystems, hybrid cloud environments, and integration models.
  • Experience with TOGAF, ITIL, and best-practice architectural governance. 
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on technical capability. 
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience engaging with C-suite. 
  • Strong commercial acumen and a pragmatic, outcome-focused approach. 
  • Familiarity with AWS or GCP is advantageous.
