Ready to take your career to the next level? Join us as an Assessment Services Consultant and become a key player in our Apprentice Connect Provider division! Based in Southport, this is your chance to thrive with Australia's largest single provider.
In this pivotal role, you’ll be working closely with employers and apprentices to ensure both parties are well-prepared from the start. You'll conduct essential pre-commencement checks and clearly explain key processes, making sure the right support is in place for a smooth experience on both sides.
Day to day you will provide exceptional customer service and be responsible for but not limited to:
- Conduct video-based assessment conversations with Australian Apprentices as part of the Get Ready Check process.
- Build rapport, actively listen and ask thoughtful follow-up questions to understand individual circumstances and identify potential barriers to apprenticeship success.
- Deliver exceptional customer service across video, phone and digital channels, providing timely and accurate support.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Maintain accurate assessment records and customer information in line with quality and compliance requirements.
- Consistently achieve quality and productivity targets by effectively managing assessment volumes, conversation timeframes and customer outcomes.
About you
You will be a positive, adaptable, and driven self-starter with a passion for providing excellent customer service and support. With experience in customer service, administration, recruitment or employment services you will bring your:
- Confidence communicating with customers via video and phone, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Strong listening skills and the confidence to ask thoughtful follow-up questions while working within established assessment frameworks.
- The ability to interpret and apply guidelines, using sound judgement to identify and escalate potential barriers where required.
- Proven capacity to meet set targets and KPIs.
- Strong attention to detail and proven accurate and efficient data entry skills.
- Demonstrated high level of computer literacy across a range of programs.
