The Opportunity

Join MEGT's IT team as an IT Project Manager, reporting to the Head of IT Delivery. In this role, you'll lead the successful delivery of IT and business projects from concept through to implementation, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business objectives.

Working closely with another Project Manager, Business Analysts, technical teams and stakeholders across the organisation, you'll deliver a diverse portfolio of projects across data, business integration and technology. This is a collaborative role where you'll manage multiple concurrent projects, build strong relationships, navigate changing priorities and help drive continuous improvement across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through to implementation.
  • Develop business cases, project plans, budgets and timelines, while managing project scope, risks and issues.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather business requirements, maintain engagement throughout the project lifecycle and manage expectations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, Business Analysts and vendors to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and provide clear, accurate reporting to stakeholders.
  • Support business change through communication, training and user adoption activities.
  • Deliver projects using Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.

About you

You’re an experienced Project Manager who enjoys working with people as much as projects. You're approachable, adaptable and able to build strong relationships across both technical and business teams while keeping projects moving in a fast-changing environment.

You'll also bring:

  • Strong planning, budgeting and risk management capability.
  • Experience delivering software development projects, with a solid understanding of the SDLC, including requirements gathering, specification and testing.
  • Experience with data, systems integration or business transformation projects.
  • Experience supporting M&A projects will be highly regarded.
