The Opportunity
Based in Ringwood, this is a key support role within MEGT’s Finance Division. The primary focus is the accurate processing of accounting information and to provide administrative expertise and support to that is adaptable with high organisational the finance team. It is a dynamic role which will continually evolve and requires an individual skill.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices
- Processing weekly payments
- Setting up new suppliers
- Supplier accounts reconciliations
- Employee expense reimbursements review
- Investigate and support queries from external and internal stakeholders
- Assist in managing the Accounts Payable mailbox
- Supporting internal controls and policies
- Support the Financial Accountants with month end tasks, and journals
About you
The ideal candidate would have:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
- Certificate III/IV in Commerce, Finance or Accounting will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Exposure and knowledge in OCR and experience with NetSuite ERP highly regarded
- Intermediate Microsoft excel skills
- Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
