The Opportunity 

Based from Milton, this newly created opportunity will play an integral part of our Strategy and Design division in providing employment pathways and solutions to marginalised and disadvantaged people.

This 12-month fixed term contract role will partner with our Workforce Connect Manager to provide exceptional customer service and administration support and assist with the operational delivery of the Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) program.

As the SQW Consultant, day to day you will be responsible for:

  • Recruitment of SQW Project participants
  • Supporting SQW participants including site visits, time sheet assistance and post project employment
  • Following up and developing new business leads with job providers and community organisations and networks
  • Assist with developing schedules for programs, contacting shareholders and liaising with RTO administrators as well as the coordination of small events
  • General administration duties including phone/email enquiries and data base management

This role will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders including participants, community service organisations and our RMS division across the Gold Coast and North Brisbane region.

With flexible and hybrid working arrangements, this role will have the opportunity to develop invaluable business and project management experience while also creating employment solutions that change lives for the better.

Please note this role is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity.

About you 

You will bring your exceptional customer service experience and passion for the community including:

  • Exceptional communication, maturity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work autonomously with energy, drive, and with limited direction and in a hybrid work environment.
  • Proven experience working in a fast paced environment, acting with trust and integrity.
  • Passion for working collaboratively and consultatively with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels of responsibility.
  • An ability to empower participants to achieve excellent outcomes.
  • Proven commitment to enhancing knowledge of new technologies and business practices.
  • High level of computer literacy across a range of programs, including MS Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Current drivers' licence or ability to travel frequently during work hours and at short notice.
