The Opportunity 

Join MEGT’s IT Division as a Technical Business Analyst, reporting to the Head of IT Delivery, and play a key role in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of our organisation. 

In this role, you will partner across the organisation to proactively identify system and process optimisation opportunities, perform business analysis on projects, and support end-to-end delivery with a focus on efficient project execution and continuous improvement. You will work closely with diverse internal and external stakeholders to ensure business and customer expectations are understood and managed throughout the project lifecycle. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews and process mapping sessions. 
  • Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements. 
  • Translate requirements into epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria. 
  • Identify impacts, dependencies, risks and constraints across systems and processes. 
  • Contribute to interface/API requirements, data mapping and integration specifications. 
  • Support UAT planning, coordination and validation against requirements. 
  • Liaise with staff at all levels, including Managers, Senior Managers and Executives. 
  • Communicate complex technical concepts in business-friendly language. 
  • Ensure requirements consider privacy, security and regulatory needs. 

 

About you

You are an experienced and proactive Technical Business Analyst who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys building positive relationships with diverse stakeholders. You bring strong analytical capability, together with the ability to engage, influence and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders, along with: 

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Business Analyst in complex environments 
  • High digital literacy, including experience with Microsoft technologies such as Azure, Data Lake, SharePoint and Visio  
  • Experience in business analysis, business change and continuous improvement processes 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Experience working with payroll, finance/accounting and CRM systems
