The Opportunity  

Based in Perth, join our Apprentice Connect Provider division and make a difference with flexible, hybrid working arrangements. As a Customer Service Officer – Telephone Contact, you'll conduct progress calls to apprentices, trainees, and their employers, supporting them through their journey from commencement to key milestones and successful completion. 

The role and responsibilities of the position includes:

  • Conduct telephone progress contacts with apprentices and employers, maintaining accurate records.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email to support apprenticeship retention and completion. 
  • Provide timely and accurate information about the Australian Apprenticeship program and available support services. 
  • Ensure accurate data entry and reporting in MEGT and government systems. 
  • Identify issues affecting apprenticeship progress and refer to mentoring or other services as needed. 
  • Meet KPIs while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. 

About you 

We’re seeking someone who can:

  • Build strong relationships with customers, including youth and diverse groups. 
  • Manage outbound calls to meet targets and support apprentices and employers. 
  • Communicate professionally with excellent oral and written skills. 
  • Solve problems, take ownership of issues, and work collaboratively. 
  • Deliver exceptional service with confidentiality and tact. 
  • Use Microsoft Suite confidently. 
  • Knowledge of Australian Apprenticeships or relevant admin experience (desirable) 
  • Relevant administration qualifications or experience are also desirable but not essential.
