The Opportunity

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a key support role in accurate accounting and financial administration. You’ll work closely with the Finance team and stakeholders to support compliance, control and decision-making across the MEGT Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Accounts Payable including invoices, approvals, payments and reconciliations
  • Deliver Accounts Receivable services including invoicing, receipts and collections
  • Complete month-end tasks such as journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and credit card & bank reconciliations
  • Maintain the fixed asset register and process depreciation
  • Support BAS, Payroll Tax and FBT processes
  • Assist with audit preparation and continuous improvement activities

 

About You

  • Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Exposure to statutory compliance (BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Collaborative, reliable and customer-focused
  • Confident using ERP systems, Microsoft applications and Excel
  • Certificate III/IV in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (highly regarded)
